Poetry
Here is another 2016 poem, this time focusing in on the good grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I promise to at some point write some new poetry, but for now, I hope you are uplifted by some of my older poetry.) Thumbnail photo from Soul devOcean on Unsplash.
I wrote this prayer in March 2015. May it be edifying and uplifting to your soul. Thumbnail photo from Diana Simumpande on Unsplash.
I wrote this a few months ago, maybe in April or so. I was about to go out, and I was wearing the same shoes pictured here, only I was home in America, and the picture was taken in Ghana. As I laced the sandals, these words began flooding my mind, and now, I am sharing them here with you. Grace and peace to you.
Just some musings from back in the early quarantine days.
I couldn’t get that Eastbound plane ticket, so I had to take a T-Rex instead.
Where are you going? Please, take me there.
Renewal: January 2016 is a poem I wrote about an hour into January 1, 2016. It seems only fitting that I share it here on this lovely morning of January 1, 2020. Grace and peace, friends.
I originally wrote this poem as a song back in 2016, and I completed it at the end of this year. It seems to express my feelings well as we close out not only the year 2019, but also the last decade.
