Sins for Sanctification

Here is another 2016 poem, this time focusing in on the good grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I promise to at some point write some new poetry, but for now, I hope you are uplifted by some of my older poetry.)

I am the nail in His hand

I am the sword in His side

I am the thorn in His crown

the loudest in the crowd

screaming CRUCIFY

...crucify

But in His deep love my

sins are washed away in

His blood, by His blood

I am made new, my heart

is SANCTIFIED

...sanctified

Made blameless in the sight

of God by the power of grace

not by anything I’ve done

so that in my life Christ may

be GLORIFIED

...glorified...
